An elegant hideaway since 1927, the historic Inn at Death Valley has been a AAA-rated four-diamond resort for more than 37 years and still pampers every guest. Set against the hillside, the exclusive and private resort looks out over the valley toward the Panamint Mountains. Natural springs run right through the hotel and lush palm trees and flowering bougainvillea adorn the grounds. Completely renovated, The Inn features brand new casitas, a spring-fed pool, and classic California-desert style.
The Ranch at Death Valley
Welcome to the new and improved Ranch at Death Valley. The sprawling, family-friendly hotel has been part of a $250 million renaissance and is the energetic center of activity in Death Valley. Set along Highway 190 next to the National Park Service Visitor Center, you can enjoy a classic town square with towering date palms and mission California architecture. There’s lots of room to spread out with huge lawns set along an 18-hole golf course – the lowest elevation course in the world, a natural spring-fed pool to help keep cool, and rooms with exterior entrances and private patios. Plus, there are great to-go food options to help you enjoy your stay as you set out for adventure in Death Valley National Park.

One free round of golf for 18-holes per stay, per room is available for stays through December 31, 2024 and with all room types at the Inn or with the Cottages only at the Ranch. A certificate for the free round will be provided upon check-in. Golf rounds can be purchased for additional parties sharing the room. Free golf does not include cart or club rental, these may be purchased separately at the pro shop. Tee times can be made in advance directly with our pro shop, fees for additional rounds or rentals to be collected upon check-in at the pro shop. This offer is only valid for guests who book directly through the Oasis at Death Valley online reservation system or through our central reservations contact center.
